There have been increasing reports, both seemingly legitamite and in the 'rags' that they are not long for their relationship and will end it sooner than later....

The really insidious thing about 'rags' like the National Enquirer is that they fail to include a warning that you are prying into someone else's life;in our obsession with tv somewhere along the line we have forgotten that these are real people.The armchair tv treatment of war in iraq and afghanistan has reduced it to 'entertainment' and for the price of a tv subsciption has appointed us judges of everything from a wrestling contest to brad and angelina's status.And there are children involved now,children 'rescued' from deprived areas;what an irony it would be if these kids were now destroyed by the media.
The only people who should be exposed to the full glare of the media should be the wannabe's in reality tv shows and people selling things and of course bad people.The News of the World were at their best in exposing really nasty paedophiles,people trafficking and gun running and dog fighting scams.Here they were dealing with really nasty frightening people who needed to be exposed and there was real danger and real courage needed to do this.Conversely,the Screws were at their worst in exposing some timid little parish priest somewhere who had been foolish enough to get involved with one of his flock.Yes, I admit it; I read some of these and hugely enjoyed them as the perfect end to an enjoyable meal while lamenting the terrible damage done to some poor vulnerable who was not really doing any harm to anyone.
Let's face it; we have all been guilty in reading or passing on tittle tattle about other people's lives and it is quite hard to see the boundary between legitimate comment and that which is breaching respect issues;on the other hand some people suffer from Official Secrets Actsitis and think that all of their silly little secrets need to be guarded like Fort Knox.
Why don't you write to Angelina and Brad and apologise for your intrusiveness and then expressing your feeling that they are a wonderful couple and that you wish them well together.But you will be the exception as most tv is based on humiliating people and degrading them and robbing them of their dignity.
What do you think this tells us about the state of mind of the watching audience; about how much they hate themselves and how little joy they get from life that their only relief is from others' pain.

If you see some of the recent photos of the two of them together, they look happy. They're still together, they have three adopted children and one of their own. I don't think they will split up that easily. There are always rumous about their relationship. One day it's about them maybe getting married next year, the next day they're fighting. I think most of the time it's just journalists trying to sell as much newspapers / magazines as possible, no matter what it is really going on.
