It seems to be a name that would be better spelt 'Shahn". I have known a girl at school to say it that way.....but another See-arn with Sian spelling.

its welsh, its pronounced sh-ah-n. i dont relly know how to represent it so imagine the i as a h and the a as long and soft so its 'shaan'

I've never known a girl to be named Sian but I know two boys named Sian and they both pronounce it "Shee-on" With the "o" slightly silent, just barley pronouncing it.

I have known several Sian's.

Its pronouned Shahn. Like Shawn.

PS!!!!! I remember I also heard it pronounced SHAN before. (like chan)

i is pronounced shan it is a gaelic name and mean's jane.there should be a ^ above the i.
this is the name i picked for my daughter but never used and now it's mt neices name.
