RIGHT NOW .. as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree ... NO children ... no hangers-on, no one at all in MY pocketbook leaching off my income ... no DEMANDS ... no piggies in the house .. no one abusing me .....

I am FINALLY Able to ENJOY the income I've earned over this lifetime ...

the HOME That I own is PEACEFUL, QUIET ... and most importantly ... ALL MINE!

I get to FULLY ENJOY MY Income (Pensions)

I get to CHOOSE what I want to watch on TV (and when! -- and even can turn if OFF if I want to -- which is most of the time anyway)

I get TIME TO MYSELF -- so precious indeed ...

I get to go places, wander around .. and NO DEADLINES! NO obligations to those who CHOOSE to NOT work hard for a living ... and I mean it!

I know that when I clean up something in the HOME that it STAYS CLEAN -- and that is the truth!

I can get up and go VISIT my siblings (the last time we were together was when we buried them as very young adults -- and we all were on Active Duty with the US Armed Forces at the time)

I CHOOSE how to spend my income ... and can ENJOY life a bit now too !!!

I can ENJOY my freedom -- and explore NEW interests and NEWLY Rediscovered creativity (like photography -- enjoy the NEW Digital SLR Formats!)

Oh, so much to ENJOY .. the sense of FREEDOM is TREMENDOUS ... and ... best of all ... NO KIDS!!!!!!!! YIPEE!!! They are ALL out of the HOME!!!!! I Can SLEEP in!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was twelve and I had my first solo song thing at my school.
I was shaking like CRAZY, and I thought I would be awful. And I still think I was awful.
But as soon as I heard my friends cheer for me, all my nerves went away. Because I realized that I wasn't singing for some random audience. I was singing for myself, my friends, and my family.
And whenever I dance onstage, that's pretty great.
I love being onstage.
