Taj Mahal topping the list is every indian's pride.but what about the rest of the wonders??

I think that they are. People from all over the world voted in that competition so obviously these wonders have have more of an effect on people than other sites. I have never seen any of them personally but I know people who have seen some of them (petra, the coluseum, the taj mahal, the great wall) and say that they are magnificent.

The Eiffel Tower was one. That's just rediculous. If the Eiffel tower is one then all of our sky scrapers should be too.
