apparantly the audiences this year are the lowest they have been, is this a sign that everyone is getting bored of it and next summer we can have some real TV on channel 4?

I'm not sure if it will be the last, but I think Big Brothers 8 is the most boring of any so far.

No, I don't think it'll be the last one. The shows producers are just trying to make it more interesting. I still like it.
