i believe that happiness exists in us, but it's the things out there that can help us find it in ourselves.

I agree happiness comes from within, I think it has a lot to do with our attitude towards life and the situations that we encounter throughout Life
I think we achieve this by "fine tuning our skills and abilities is what works so well.
There's an old saying"No one every grows old and unhappy until they let regret take the place of their dreams"

Happiness is definately in us. If it was out there then more of the people who we would assume would be happy actually would be happy...

It is within us.
The only things you really *have* are things inside you -- your talents, your tastes, how you react to what happens to you. The only thing you can really control is yourself.
So if you look for happiness outside yourself, even something as simple as with a boyfriend, it can change, your boyfriend can end up leaving you are messing around behind your back.

you know, i think happiness is actually within us. the choices we make are the things that could lead us to happiness and sadly, they could also mislead us. we, ourselves, are the ones responsible for are own actions and emotions. its in ourselves whether we would choose to live happily or to live a life that's too miserable that we'd rather die.

Happiness can be found within ourselves, its a god given gift that we can find smallest pleasures in the smallest of things like fragrance of the flowers, the natures luscious beauty, doing things that give you pleasure etc. Happiness from within gives contentment, satisfaction and it can also be found in the person you love. Happiness is like a small bud waiting to bloom within you only that you have to discover it yourself within yourself instead of looking for it outside........finding for happiness outside, its only temporary...the day you find happiness within yourself it will be the day you will be at peace with yourself, content and most of all happy. Live for simple pleasures..........pleasure in nature all god's given gift, appreciate it, cherish it and find happiness in them I challenge you that you will find enormous happiness and pleasure within you.

I believe you can't find happiness anywhere until you find it within yourself. Then whatever you find out there may enhance it.

happiness is in us, it is related to satisfaction... if your satisfied with what you have, you are happy... you cannot find happiness, you cannot also feel it unless you have satisfaction.... that is why rich persons never become happy, they are not satisfied with what they have. they always want more.

I believe happiness is in us, but to be practicle there are factors that affect our happiness. (such as economic condition, relations, society, friends...).
