To start the bbq, Mojito's or frozen margarita's- next Medium rare(or how ever you would like it!) rib-eye steak, grilled corn on the cob and veggies like onions, mushrooms etc to top the steak, a fresh garden salad with grape tomato's, black olives and artichoke hearts topped with feta cheese and a hearty dressing like balsamic vinaigrette,or Cesar. Desert should be light such as a fruit(mostly melon-water melon, honey dew melon etc) salad or the summer fav of strawberry shortcake. THIS is the ultimater BBQ!!

Lol @ Hornet One. My mum makes the best potatoe salad and my stepdad usually cooks sausages, hotdogs, ribs, chicken sticks, chilli chicken wings, hamburgers, pork chops, even corn on a cob, or steak on the bbq with onions tomatoes and mushrooms lol, with bbq's i personally like Chilli Chicken wings or bbq chicken sticks with heaps of cesar salad yummmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

I love moist but done burgers, pasta salad with veggies,
assorted fruits platter, roasted corn on the cob, and chips & dip !!

Steak, my own recipe ribs, good quality sausages/burgers, asparagus in lemon butter, corn in herb butter (last 2 foil wrapped in portions & cooked on the grill)
