If you are a gamer and have a video card under the Nvidia 8000 series, and under the Radeon x2000 series, I would definitely recommend it. If you play games that support it (Joint Task Force, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter) it will look more amazing. Not only does it make and add more VRam to your Video Card (128MB from Ageia + 256/512/768/1GB from Video card) it adds additional effects to your game (more particles, explosions). If you have DX10, and one of the few I listed, then don't mind it. They are utilizing those for the processing. but if you have below any of those versions, it is a good deal.

It's a big wait and see. PhysX chips make for amazing graphics in the games that support them, BUT (and it's a big but) from what I understand, DirectX 10 is making use of certain GPUs for the same purpose (nVidia 8000 series, Radeon x2000 series). So if you're running Vista and this holds true, I'd spend the money on a pair of awesome video cards instead.

PhysX cards are definitely a awesome thing, but there's not many games out right now (to my knowledge) that make use of them. If it were me, I'd wait a few more months at least, and then get one. But that's just me. :)

It could be worth it if the new releases of your favorites games actually utilize the technology to the fullest.
