It's completely alright but don't let the obsession take control of your mind, soul, body and life.
I love Mikey and Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance so I can definitely understand what you're going through. But being obsessed with anyone (a celeb or non-celeb) is always a bad thing. As the saying goes, 'too much of something is bad enough'.

It's a safer kind of idolatry than having a crush on the boy next door and valuable when we learn that the love is in us and not out there. They say that the most important achievement of the 21st century so far may be finding out that we are not our thoughts, but have thoughts. That allows us to get "outside' our thoughts and see ourself and others as we really are. In other words, really think about how Jason Dolley probably sees you in reality and how do I see you and JD. That gives you three ways to think of him. Kind of kills the crud, but fun too and the most realistic and helpful way to look at the world.

This is not ok. People should not become obsessed with anyone, let alone a celebrity you will never meet.
If you have a boyfriend, this will eventually become annoying to him, and he will find someone who doesn't lust after some other dude right under his nose.
Besides, how can you love someone you've never met?
You must be 16 year old or younger.
Hopefully, you will grow out of this infatuation.

i like hbar12's response the best. honestly, just knowing that this type of stuff happens to others makes the stomach butterflies get some zzzzzz's. i am not a teenager but all ofa sudden i have been thrown back into the h.s. scene with this embarassing crush on anthony kiedis from r.h.c.p. i say embarassing bcos i have a b/f that i have been dating for almost ten years! i feel so awful but its like i am helpless to this obsession! sorry, i wish i knew the answer for u. i just wish u luckw/yours.

Of corse its okay, as long as you dont go nutty. I am in love with Jon Bon Jovi and have been for 20 years I'm 30 now, my hubby is cool with it, I have met him even hugged him hes a great guy and beautiful man however he loves his wife so of corse it will never happen but its fun to dream.

It's o.k. to crush on them as long as you realize that nothing will come of it. I don't think that it is o.k. to need to know everything that is going on with them if it doesn't have to do with their careers. That just starts to cross over into stalker territory. I have a huge crush on Orlando Bloom but I don't need to know all of his business.
