Perhaps they don't practice enough on math skills. Besides, they have no interest in this subject, they think math is boring.

There are many reasons that students fail in Math.

One reason is that math is sequential in nature. That means that one concept , knowledge or skill builds on the top of another. While this is true in most if not all subjects it is more apparent in Math. Students who have not mastered a preceding skill have difficulty in learning new work.

A second reason is that Math is an exact subject. All the other elementary and secondary school subjects are not as exact. Many students have trouble with the exactness of math.

There is a shortage of math teachers partially caused by the provisions of the No Child Left Behind legislation which has led to an increased need for math teachers. Another factor is that Math teachers have a sale-able well paying skill so that many go into better paying jobs than teaching.

Perhaps a better question should be how can someone pass or do well in math.

Maths is a subject which a lot of things depend on regular practice . So students don't do that so thats why they fail in maths.

Use hands one objects to teach, for people who struggle with math it is much better to learn it with objects, counting dividing and all, try this site
