i am a plumber and want to know if my uk qualifications are enough to get me a job with an australian plumbing company or do i have to do the australian version of the qualifications in order to get a job.

Plumbers are now on the Migration Occupation in Demand List . You may need to upgrade your skills some to meet Aussie standads, but that should not be too difficult, and there will be some assistance given.

we're looking to migrate to OZ too.

You can get into australia with your Qualification now, Under a 'skilled visa'.

Then you just need to register to get a state license

You will have to do some small training with the company you join, but thats normal.
