I feel like the people we have appointed to govern us are taking our freedom away. Terrorism has become an excuse to impose more and more restraint on the population. I understand that we need to protect ourselves, but at what cost?

Our freedom is not vanishing. It is being protected everyday by brave young men and women who serve this country. I have felt no added restraints and yet I feel safer. I feel safer because I know there are people watching out for the bad guys. There are young men in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting those who would take away our freedoms. Buck up nothing is being taken from you and you will be protected.

In what way do you feel threatened? I don't and, in fact I'm not really happy with my Government but, will vote in the next election and try to make some changes. I have served in the armed forces and have been wounded twice. My father has served and was wounded, my Grandson has served and is back in Iraq.

Can I ask you, what you have done recently for your Country, instead of sitting back and condemning it, the Government and crying about it, what have you done for your Country to help it along?

My cost was wounds both psychological and physical, memories I would like to forget and worries about my grandsons safety, that's my cost, what's yours, what are you willing to do for your Country?
