I do not hate the Jews.
If you want to know a historical reason why many Europeans hated the Jews - - look under 'The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion.' Here is a link:

Probably the biggest reason is that in the U.S. most people are under the impression that all Jews are wealthy. This is far from the truth. But truth is what most people believe it is. I read that 1 Jew out of 5 is at or near the poverty level. But Jews who are affluent are visible. Most people choose to believe that all Jews are rich. There is probably no other ethnic group who is so identified with money. Think of the stereotypes. There is the money lender who charges the highest rate of interest like Shylock. There is the pawnbroker, the financial analyst, the stock broker, the movie mogul, the pickpocket like Fagin, the traitor for money like Judas, the revolutionary or Communist like Karl Marx. No other group except black people suffer from so many negative images. TRUTH IS WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE IT IS!
Additional answer: Traditionally the Jews were hated in Europe and when they first arrived in America because they were poor. In earlier times when religion was everything it was considered an insult when Christ's own people didn't except him as the Messiah.

I'm glad you don't get it. I don't understand hatred either.
It seems like an awful waste of time and effort to hate a group or person.
Sadly there are individuals who have some kind of mental problem which causes them to be more concerned with hating someone than with making their own lives happy and fulfilling.
I can understand feeling hostility towards a particular person who has done you wrong but as a Christian I know that forgiving that person makes my own life better.

Different groups or nations have often used another group as a scapegoat for their flaws or hatreds:
lepers and Christians in ancient Rome, blacks in the US before Civil Rights movement, women burned as witches in the middle ages, illegal immigrants in the US today, etc.

For the Jew Haters...the jews are...
1.cocky race that keep saying that they are the chosen one by god...and other races are about to be doomed on the judgement day - upsets other religions are races
* the truth is...only Jews, Christians, and Islams(among major religions, I mean) believes that their faith is one and only truth. Buddism, Hindu, Confucianism, and many other popular religions accept the fact that other religions are valuable as well as their value
2.they do not accept Jesus as a savior - upsets Christians
3.The jews had travelled around the world and made TONS of money by financial business...and this was not a proud job before modern era
4.The worst part is, many jews refused to join army or public service of the society they lived in even though they enjoyed the fruits as much as others
------------------------------------------------
I am not saying those are FULLY facts...to some degree, it was the jew haters made those false beliefs

I don't think people hate Jews anymore except for Neo-Nazis...anyway...Hitler didn't like the Jews because the Jews were behind Communism in Germany.
