no, there is always evil. Jesus said that when heaven and earh combine, satan is thrown into hell. so there is still evil, but lock up in a different place.

I don't think so. I read recently that whenever a person experiences an emotion their body produces a neurotransmitter (a body chemical really) that bathes every cell in his/her body. When the incident that produced this emotion is in the past, this chemical will subside but then a withdrawal-like symptom occurs and the person will seek a repeat of the experience.
You could almost say that a person can become addicted to a particular experience for the emotion it produces. I think anger seems to be one of the most addictive. I see people looking in every nook and cranny for things to make them mad. Then they will smooth out for a short time and then repeat the process.
I think some people redirect this anger into energy to get through their day. Like Walter Matheus said in the Bad News Bears, "They play better when they're mad"
I think Walker Percy's book "The Thanatos Syndrome" was an attempt to modify this aspect of human nature...fiction of course.
So I guess what I'm saying is that there will always be anger, hate and all the bad emotions because they will be sought by the individual organism. So unless you can spray the world world with something to mellow out everybody, we are stuck with the bad emotions and it is that which causes all the grief.

Yin and yang means that there must be balance, positive and negative, good and evil. In this world, that is how it must be. The only place where there is complete goodness and happiness is in Heaven, in the afterlife. On earth we are allowed to choose between good and evil. If we choose good we are rewarded in Heaven. If we choose evil then we are punished in Hell. This life is a test. If everyone and everything were good then it would not be a challenge, there would be no point.

Well Wiseman(WISDOM thy name!), may it so happen you see all good and feel all good and be in all good world.
I shall talk to a little philosophy of the east (especially of Indian origin). The good and evil are divisions (dvandva) says sanskrit philosophers. As long as one exits the other follow suite. That is basically the concept of "Yin and Yang" as well as you might be knowing. Therefore, a man of self-realization goes beyond the both and realizes the self. That is the basis of all the easter religions including those of chinese origin, buddhism and hinduism.
Good is preserved for the sake of going beyond evil and then even beyond one should go. For as long as you think of good no matter what you are and where you are, you are bound to think of evils existence some where and want to save people and beings from evil and make things good.
So go beyond both. That is what is all good. Way to go!

Concepts are too interdependent. Think of a person that is "tall". Now, if they were the only person in existence, would they be "tall"? NO, because there is no one to compare them to. We know "tall" only as we can contrast it to "short." It is the difference between things that allows us to label them.
The same holds for "good" and "evil." If you remove "evil" from the universe, then you also remove "good" because you have nothing to compare it to and contrast it against. We are stuck with the binaries as a system of understanding. Realize that one is just as necessary as the other.

Wolf good is rabbit evil.
The wolf got to eat, the rabbit got killed.
Life is all about the flow of energy. Good and Evil are not separate things, they are a description of which way the energy is flowing.
Your white ying yang is the perfect example. What do you get if you turn the black part of a ying yang white?

I think when the human race matures in the next god-knows-how-many years (if ever), and finally realise the bad side of war, cruelty etc (as if it weren't obvious enough), then there might be a global utopia, aka a heaven on earth.

the fact is, without being skeptic, there is no possibility to have a 'perfect' world.
God created human with its own mind and feelings. Therefore, as long as there is evil... human will continue to commit sin.
Sin will always be an 'option' for survival..

no, but it can become a better one. yin yang is another name for polarity, a concept that captures the nature of life. it says that everything is made of two opposite but complementing forces. it is unlike the concept of duality that asserts that said two forces are contradictory and forever be irreconcilable. this concept is responsible for the constant schism between reason and emotion, north and south, male and female, and so many others. while polarity sees complementation, duality seeks erasure of the opposite. duality goes against the nature of life.
