Indeed they did reach that far, and further; in fact, York - called Jorvik at the time - used to be the Viking capital. That's why they hold the Jorvik Viking Festival there every February. As for intermarrying with the Saxons, it's all but guaranteed that they did.

Yes, they did. Probably they had children with the local inhabitants, possibly as a result of intermarriage, possiblyy as a result of rape. No one can be 100% sure.

The Vikings DID reach Yorkshire! The PROOF, is in the NAME of the City of YORK, itself, - it comes from the Norse "JORVIK", - which was THEIR name, for it!

Yes, they did and many of the town and surnames ending in "by" are Viking names.
