i need advise on getting a graphics card to play sims 2!?

i have installed sims 2 already, but the walls and grass are flashing red and purple respectively...help!

i think i will need a new graphics card and most prob more memory too, but i really don know what on the market is suitable 4 my hardware.

I really need advise on the type, brand of the graphics card and the best price for it.. i have checked out some shops in sim lim square but being a not so advanced computer user i was lost at what was the right one.haha..

my motherboard:
Elitegroup P4M800-M7

Cheap options: ATI 9600 Pro or Geforce 7300GS AGP
Better options: Geforce 7300GT AGP, 7600GS AGP or ATI x1650 Pro AGP
Awesome options: ATI X1950 Pro or XT AGP, Geforce 7950GT AGP

The awesome options may require you to upgrade power supply because of their high power consumption.
