I dressed up as Robin Hood once for Halloween, and my father made me take that costume off poste haste, (at the time I couldn't figure out exactly why).
As well one of my Anglican Church buddies hosted a Renaissance fair and was similarly reluctant to change his costume afterwards..
Anyway, I don't think that was anything homosexual, -on both our parts. He was quite a family man but admitted he didn't want to get out of his costume. From it I remember, too, my reluctance at the time, to take them off.
Some women's clothes are gross and I would never wear them, but I think leotards are an exception, because I think they were originally designed for men..

They problem with wearing just tights, is that they leave nothing to the imagination, if you get my drift. Leotards would be the same.
Just remember when those costumes were worn, they were quite often accompanied by a Cod-piece (similar to a medieval thong), which was worn over the privates. In some cases for modesty, and for others to brag or exaggerate.

Its because they think that if someone or a guy wear tight clothes is a Gay of which that is not true, This is a free country where everybody is allowed to do or to wear what ever they feel comfortable in it, So all I'm saying is don't judge someone by the clothes or costume he wears.

I played semi-pro football and wore pantyhose too keep warm. I don't see a problem if a guy wants to wear pantyhose or tights.

Ha, I don't care if guys wear tights! I like them even more for being confident enough to wear them!
Then again, I have done theatre since I was 6, so I am kind of used to guys in tights by now.
: )

i go out in tights (running tights actually) now and then. Once i was in large drug store, like Walgreens, and i noticed a number of people walking past me. When i went out in the parking lot, a couple of cars went by me and hollered some things at me. i guess you could say they were propositioning me lol, but they (all guys) sounded more angry.
So, in answer to your question, i guess some people don't like to see (skinny) guys in tights!

My husband wears them in winter, under his trousers. He likes the warmth and support and I imagine the general feel of them.People can't get used to the idea that your whole package is exposed!

I don't see anything wrong with it. Some people, mostly old men, find it gay. Probably because it makes them insecure or it brings out subconcious gay feelings that they have tried to supress for ages....

It's every man's right to dress up as girly as he wants to. There's no problem with letting out a little sissy squeal once in a while either.
