Or do you hate being who you are?
I consider myself Portuguese, even though my dad was born in another country...his parents, my pops , were born in Portugal so that makes me Portuguese and yes! I'm very proud to be part of my nation.

Yes, I'm proud to be an Aussie. We're a multicultural nation and the diversity makes Australia an amazing place to live. We are young, only about 220 years old, and [especially in the outback] there's a VERY strong sense of "mate ship". We have a bond with each other, which means, that we won't ignore someone who needs a hand. I LUV Australia!!!

I was born in the US, but I consider myself a Mexican US citizen and damn proud of it!! As long as the police keeps pulling me over for no reason and some white folks telling me to go back to Mexico, I will not feel proud to be american.

Yes, being Australian is pretty much accepting every race and living together as our own nation. Lately I have become a little less proud of what our nation stands for, but I could not be prouder of what it is to be australian and the people that I am surrounded by.

I am proud to be American. My heritage is not American, but I am American. I am free. I am what my ancestors dreamed of. I am proud of my ethnic background, but I am most proud to be the product of what my ancestors hoped, dreamed and bled for. I love this country. No where else in this entire world will you find such a diverse group of people living peacefully (for the most part) in one land. I love the fact that I can speak any which way I choose of my government without being shot. I love the American Dream. Any man or woman with a dream and a will can be anything they want. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I'm a Singaporean too. I don't think I'm so satisfied with my nation that I can say I'm proud of it without thinking.

But I can safely say that I like staying in my country, and I am glad I was born here.
