What are some and why do people quit?

I think places with high turnover are caused by lack of appreciation. People need to know that do good work!!! Atta boys go a long way!!! unfortunately where we work it seems we have some high turnover and I feel that is why because people don't feel appreciated.

I just quit my job at a fast food joint a couple weeks back because of poor management and a hostile working environment. All I wanted was a summer job, and it turned out to be a living hell expirience. Another girl ended up quitting after me. They didn't even want to know WHY I was quitting, which would have probably been helpful on their behalf.
My advice..don't work fast food.

Bartender ,waitress,paper boy any job that pays low and you have to listen to the customer complain.

jobs that underpay, overwork and treat you badly.
or jobs that people take for a short period of time to begin with, like summer jobs, in between jobs, etc.

Customer service, dealing with people who think they get to treat other adults like stupid children because they feel they are better than them and that they are 'right'.

market researchers....those people who call your house to do a survey. We get yelled at ALL THE TIME. And it's not worth it.

my freinds always quit their jobs cuz its boring, not enough hours or just don't want to work there anymore.

greasy, dirty, sweaty and horrible pay
