You probably have a vaginal yeast infection. They are normal and happen from time to time. Some women get them more often than others. A yeast infection is not an STD and it doesn't matter if you're sexually active or not. It's just an overgrowth of the yeast that we normally have inside of our bodies. It is easily treatable by over the counter creams, or homemade remedies like eating yogurt or garlic douches. I wouldn't use any creams w/out talking to your doctor first, though.

Hmmm... it probably is a yeast infection but there are several things about this are troubling to me. First of all, by assuming that you were a virgin your doctor put you in a situation where you were made to feel uncomfortable about asking questions about your sexual health. That was irresponsible. Second, you don't KNOW that your partner was not carrying an STD unless you were both tested.
Go to Planned Parenthood and get screened for STDs. At the very least, it will put your mind at ease. Worst-case scenario is that they catch an STD early on and are able to treat it. It's a win-win situation. They can also treat your (probably) yeast infection and give you some advice on how to be responsibly sexually active.

Could be related to a yeast infection. One of the classic symptoms of a yeast infection is having discharge that is like cottage cheese, and also itching can occur because of the yeast if it's there.
I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor again for further evaluation of the situation to see what she says.

Sounds like a yeast infection. There is over the counter medicines for this and it can be cleared up in a matter of days. Being that you are sexually active you really need a check-up. Don't pretend to be a good girl be honest, protected, and safe your life is at stake.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection. This is nothing to worry about. There are over the counter things you can take. Just ask at the pharmacy. It comes mostly from wearing pantyhose or your pants being too tight.
Don't worry, you will be fine. The meds take 5 to 7 days to get rid of it.
