Do something you havent done for a while, or something you enjoy doing, i would start off by having a lay in, going to the salon or a beauty spa and have a pamper session and maybe get my hair made up nicely, i would go shopping to buy a nice outfit and meet up with a friend or relative.... there must be one? and have a few drinks to show off your pampered self!! ;)
I didnt celebrate my 22nd birthday as i had our 2nd child two weeks before, but she was the best present i could ever wish for! I may go out for my 23rd this year (in 3 weeks), it will be a nice treat as i havent celebrated my birthday since i was 18! :) Really excited!!!
I would advise you enjoy your birthday while your free and single, push the boat right out!! It much more difficult when you settle down, have a lovely birthday whatever you decide to do xx

Declare it to be National Me Appreciation Day.
Spoil yourself by doing exactly what you like. Lie in bed late, if that's your pleasure.
Take yourself out for a walk in your favourite place, whether it be the countryside or a shopping centre.
Pamper yourself: get a facial, or a massage, get your nails done, or have a sauna. Have a makeup makeover, or get your hair done. (You can ask for a wash-and-style and they'll do it even if there's no cutting involved).
Buy yourself something for lunch that you wouldn't normally indulge in by yourself: your favourite food and maybe wine or a special coffee concoction. You can take yourself to a restaurant or buy something to have at home, curled up with a good movie.
If you like flowers, splurge on a bunch, or a potted flowering plant.
The most important thing is, don't feel pressured or rushed, and don't feel you have to meet a programme. If you change your mind and decide to spend the day slopping around in your PJ's and then send out for a pizza--that's what you do. Just rest, charge your batteries, and enjoy.

You could start off the day by having a nice British breakfast or some meal appealing to you. Afterwards, you could go to the cinema or a museum, a park you really like or feel attached to. You could visit your parents or grand-parents for a while, a friend of yours you haven't got to see for a while. You could also go shopping a bit (don't overdo it :D), a nice bookshop or clothes boutique that has caught your attention. Buying some expensive and fancy champagne or wine for a personal toast at night, celebrating with yourself all the goals you've achieved allthrough these 22 yrs.
Anyways, happy birthday!

I depends on you and a bit on where you live. I'm happy to go almost anywhere alone - just as well really;o( How about one of those pampering and spa days at a health club? (but make sure it's a really nice one first).Or book yourself a really good seat at a show you've been meaning to see for a while. Or even one of those short one or two night cruises, although you may have to pay a single supplement. Enjoy!

Have a relaxing day, rent out a good movie or go to a spa and get yourself pampered, you can always delay a birthday party till your loved one(or close friends and family) can be with you, it dosn't have to be on the day, best wishes!

try get some friends together and go for a meal or something, I'm sure all your friends wont be busy?
failing that, book yourself into 1 of those beauty things for the day where you get pampered, you know pedicure, manicure, facial and massage things.
happy birthday in advance.

Who are these people that call themselves your friends that would leave you alone on your birthday?
I would go down the pub and sit at the bar and see how many people would buy me a drink! I'd buy one for you!
