as a child, i miss the no responsibilities, no worries about how i look, no problems with friends and family, just playing around....
in general, i miss certain friends, i miss how i used to be a hard-working student, i miss the fireflies i'd see at night on the east coast, and the snow in the winter, i miss my childhood...

I miss what it was like before the negativity of the world influenced me in a way that can never be taken back. Some would call it innocent, and it is that, but it's something else too. Gone.

I miss being able to sit in the recliner with my baby curled up comfortably on my chest sleeping. There's nothing in the world more comfortable than holding a sleeping baby.

I miss my health most of all.
Because of ill health:
I miss attending church and listening to our pastor's sermons, chatting with new and old acquaintances, working in the nursery, and teaching "my" 5th grade girls.
I miss going window shopping for hours to all of my favorite stores (clothing, books, decore, etc.)
I miss sleeping through the night and waking up fresh and well-rested
I miss pain-free and coherent days
I miss eating what I want for the enjoyment of eating
I miss going to Six Flags and Water Parks and swimming and dancing and exercising, and walking
I miss having close friends to talk with
I miss playing anything with my children
I miss talking with my daughter for hours about anything and everything
I miss playing ball with my son and laughing at all of his jokes and funniness
I miss looking in the mirror and liking the figure I see in the mirror and the clothes I am wearing because of it (for me; not anyone else)
I miss exercising on my eliptical rider without my ankles, and wrists becoming so enflamed that I have to spend days on the couch.
I miss attending college and studying and debating all kinds of issues in class and with friends
I miss studying with friends and laughing at the crazy ways we help each other remember things
I miss accomplishing even the smallest tasks, as well as all the other things I used to be able to do
I miss getting A's and B's in classes
I miss competing at work and finishing tasks by deadline
I miss being liason and coordinating all the players in each department about projects
I miss Home Interiors shows where I would demonstrate all my new products and how to use them together to make beautiful homes.
I miss playing in the snow, ice skating and sledding
I miss people, in general
I miss being the center of attention in anything I used to do
I miss rapelling and sky diving and flying an air plane and being in flight contests
I miss riding a bike with no hands
I miss sailing and water skiing
I miss being healthy enough that I don't have to stay at home for days/weeks at a time
I miss life outside of my apartment

I don't miss a thing. Oh maybe something. I miss the fact that when I was a child everything was made in America!

water skiing at the crack of dawn
Snow skiing on a full moon late at night
Waking up on a cold winter morning with piles of fresh snow, arguing with my brother and sister about who was getting up to build a fire.
All the trips with friends who never really knew what adventures were really all about.
Fishing in the feather river canyon for weeks at a time.

Always able to talk anywhere in front of anyone at anytime.

Your memories are what you have to remember and smile . As we grow up we stop thinking of ourselves so much and want the best for our children so we concentrate on supplying them with all they will need to flourish in the world. My children I raise like flowers with Love and sunshine alot of talking to understanding their needs and they always seem to get better and brighter every passing year.

Being innocent and not understanding how much there is to worry about and to fear. I really miss that.
