if he can have kids and sex without marraige? guys don't have the same emotions attachments like girls do. guys could only get the hottest girl they could afford. so why would he settle for anybody if he can't get what he really wants? remember guys are visual.

All I get are lame answers, I'm making a point. You can have emotional attachment, love, companionship, intimacy without a marriage. It all comes to a piece of paper that tells her she intitled to half if it goes sour."community property" is half. Alot of you sluts will say you make more $, but the majority of men make the most$.If I'm wrong then why do half of marriages end in divorce.

Most of you guys say that looks aren't important are full of it. You don't have the balls to admit it. You can even have your clothes washed, cooked meals, house cleaned without a ring on the finger.

Guys are not totally visual.. If that's the case, I dont think any guys would have gotten married because they are so so many hot and pretty girls out there and not all of them got an eye on the guys... Guys get married because they wanna settle down, spend time with the woman he loves and thus giving her a status.. Honestly, not many guys wanted kids with marriage..
Girls on the other hand of course got more emotional attachments towards marriage..But that doesnt mean guys dont.. For me to get married, I must love this woman alot and also have the financial stability to give her a good home and a grand wedding..

Thats you, not all men. A woman could ask the same question as you. I have met many men with very deep emotions.......the difference is between the majority of men and women is not that the man has different emotional feelings, its just they know how to hide it. When a male is born they are treated differently to a female....men are taught to be strong and protective...but they were born with the same feelings as female's are. A boy baby cries and has the same needs as a girl baby. They need to be touched and loved equally. Those emotions change because of how a boy is raised. Boys dont cry. Boys are strong. But did you know men, more than women have heart attacks. I believe thats because they hide their feelings....they bottle everything up and are not as open to talking about their feelings. You are boxing all men up into this category you have created. A guy gets married for the same reasons a woman gets married......for stability, for love, for intimacy and companionship......there is no difference.

Yeah, and that's why I think alot of guys end up in situations with being involve with women that wants just their money or other things without any meaning. A women of your choosing is not going to be perfect. It sounds like no matter what female you come across there's always going to be something wrong, right? Being that your so visual and all. Another thing you want the appetizer and not the meal. A baby and sex but not marriage. I think you need to rethink that one.

I think there are too many woman that think guys are visual. Guys are not that much more visual than women.
I find today that guys seem to be more loyal and honest then the women. Every woman I meet seems to be a tart today.
There is a hig majority of both sexes that give everyone a bad name, thus making it appear as if were "all the same".

Yes a guy (or girl) can have that without marriage. But is there any lasting happiness without commitment? And what about those kids born out of wedlock? Will they have a secure family setting that they need? No offense but you sound very selfish here.
As a matter of fact girls---and guys too---want to be the only one for their partner.

Honestly, it depends on the person. Some people are happy their whole lives being unmarried and others enjoy marriage.
There are some benefits to being married that are not emotional. Married couples pay lower taxes, have easier times being able to get credit, plus if one of you passes away, the other will be able to better care for the aftermath.

Your whole question reeks of immaturity. When you actually meet a woman who you fall in love with you will understand. Kids and sex aren't the reason why people get married.
And another thing, my partner and I are not married, and I do not feel I was bought, in the sense that he needed to "afford" me. In fact in terms of looks, he could probably have done better. But it just goes to show that love isn't based on looks. Lust and infatuation maybe, but love isn't superficial.

Sounds like you probably shouldn't get married.
For those of us who can make a relationship work, there are obvious advantages:
- no more dating pool mind games
- no more worrying about STDs
- having someone dedicated to you who will stand by you through the dark times and not just bail at the slightest sign of difficulty.

u know what...i completely agree with you....why should a guy get married, seriously?? He can get watever he wants...He can still make babies right?? Marriage is just making everything legal and just spending your whole life with someone to do stuff for you. And yes....i admit that some men get married and then are relieved tht they found "the one" so tht they can just relax......they just have the sperms ...makes the baby and sits back and relaxes!!

Not all guys are visual..maybe when it doesnt involve in emotions perhaps guys are more visual. When you love somebody you wanted to spend the rest of your life with her....thats the reason why us guys wanted to marry..
