Ron Paul is a nut. He never has a chance of being a top tier candidate or of being elected president because everyone knows he's a nut. He's in no danger of being assassinated because he's a harmless old loony. He's as much tied into the bureaucracy that paralyes government as every other politician. I talked to him about trying to get some help down at the Houston VA hospital and he said he would make hospital reform part of his Anti-War bill. So anyone who doesn't support his crazy instant withdrawal plan will vote against the bill and nothing will happen to help the veterans. If he really wanted to help he would propose it as a single issue bill and bring it to the floor for a vote. It would pass in a land slide but he's a corrupt politician who wants to play chicken with the health of out troops to get his idea pushed. I've got no respect for the whack job. That is from me talking to him personally.

I wondered the same thing!
Some people are afraid of Ron Paul holding the government accountable to the Constitution. The media is *trying* to ignore him. But no one, so far, can control the internet.

I wouldn't completely doubt it. The powerful people who control the Federal Reserve would certainly not like him and could certainly cause such an event to happen. In fact, they probably have enough influence and power to ensure a terrorist does it, or make it look like one did. But anyway, my conspiracy isn't going to happen, and unfortunately Ron Paul isn't going to be the Republican nominee. Because of that, I move a-back to Italia.
