I think the country likes Presidents that lie to them.?

Bill Clinton was a liar, George Bush is a liar, Hillary Clinton is a liar and she is the leading Presidential candidate.

Those of you that think Bill only lied about personal matters are pretty ignorant.

Hillary is leading according to the poll results.

Bush doesn't lie. I cannot think of a single lie he ever told. You may need to look up the definition. Bill would tell a lie if the truth was a better story. "Hillary is a congenital liar" said by William Safire.

It is a well known fact that every president has done something against the constitution, so you can even extend that list all the way back to Mr. Washington. so in a sense, they've all lied, they've all been caught, just some have better reputations than others, there for making them more likable, for instance you hear people say all the time "O i hate Bush" but you never hear anyone say "O i hat George Washington" but they've both lied.

Bush has not outright lied to our country. As all politicians do he has presented the facts in a manner intended to convince you that his approach is the correct one. There isn''t a person on this planet that doesnt do the same thing. he tells you the facts as he sees them. If he has given erronious information, it is because he has recieved erroneous information. He has admitted there were intelligence failures in the days leading up to Iraq. Bush is a rarity among politicians. He actually believes what he says, unlike most politicians who say what they believe you want to hear. Lying is endemic in politics. The fact is that you cant serve big industry and the american public at the same time. So you either have to lie to the money men you need to get elected, or lie to the population who you are sworn to serve. Either way you have to be willing to compromise your morals and beliefs. Politicians are liars by definition, the only thing you can do is try to pick the liar that you believe will try to represent your best interests more often than the interests of those who finance them.

They would all die from stroke trying to answer a simple Yes or No question. They gotta keep on talking till everybody listening hears something they like. They can tell by watching everybodies head nodding up and down, when they get so confused they just start agreeing. It's more about what they look like on TV. Reason why they all pay 1000"s of $'s for a bogus haircut, and wear makup like pansies.

bill and hillary are proven liars and anyone who thinks they only lie off the clock or, about 'personal' matters, are totally out of touch with reality.

Nope. Some people want us to think that they all lie to us for various reasons, and want a transparent government in a world full of people they say hate us.

Why would they want to reveal all our national secrets in a world they say hates us?
