My "roomie" and I have been together over four years. We have a house, a child, and are happy. I do not even bring it up, but why hasn't he popped the question.? I'm not fat or ugly or have any other issues.

Why repair, when its not broken? Why join the divorce line, you both have already agreed to be married in your own style, so why now do you require a socially excepted piece of paper!!!!!! (many are divorce before the 4 years has past) Very best wishes and enjoy what you both have.

Its nice to have relations with 'no strings attached' to an extend, i think, no body will take the other for granted' and will have more love..... but on the other hand, its always better to get married, Legally, socially ...not just for you guys ..... you have to always think about your kid..! :)
When ever you both are having some good moments, you can always ask him about this....? get married, be safe.. Enjoy..! :)

He figures,why ruin a good thing by getting married. He's got it made now. Very doubtful he will marry you. If he wanted to,don't you think he would at least talk about it once in awhile?
