Miracle gro has an organic ferrtilizer that is made with chicken manure, it works awesome on veggies. There is also a company that specializes in organic fertilizers, insecticides, etc. called gardens alive. I have used their products and they are excellent also. Happy growing!

Manure tea, a shovel full of aged manure (cow, horse, sheep) in a five gallon bucket of water. Let it sit in the sun for a day and use at base of plant and on the leaves. If you're a fisherman you can make fish tea (if you can take the smell) just throw your dead minnows and fish guts in a bucket of water, um'- good stuff. RScott

Try worm castings.

I use liquid kelp for fertilizing my starts. It isn't a high nutrient fert, but does help.

If you really want to "accelerate" you growth use a water soluble fertilizer like 20-20-20. Or for flowers or fruit like a 6-30-30.
