My OBGYN wanted me to call and tell the nurse if i had it for more than 24 hrs and especially if there was any cramping. It can cause dehydration and contractions and preterm labor.

Im 38 weeks and started experiencing diarrhea a couple weeks ago. My dr took blood samples and I was quite low on iron, but he suggested that I push the fluids and take an extra iron supplement. You should tell your dr about the change in bm - just to keep them aware, but I've also read in alot of places that diarrhea is a sign that your body is getting ready for labor!

My dr did take a stool sample as well, since I had it for a few weeks, but all is well. No sign of infection. Also, taking too many antacids is known to cause diarrhea. Or eating too many sugar free things. Jelly Bellys especially! I believe Olestra - from fat free chips, also causes diarrhea. Just make sure to stay hydrated and try to fend off hemmorhoids!!!

YES!! It means that you may go into labor soon. Diarrhea is one of the signs. But it also may be nothing at 35 weeks you are a bit early. I has some about 27 weeks once and then no diarrhea before I went into labor, so....
But you may want to have your bag packed JIC

I had problems with it during my third pregnancy. It did not stop after the baby was born either. I had developed a food intolerance and I had to figure out what was causing it. My baby was only 6lb. 13oz. because of the diarrhea.
