Why don't you get your husband 2 pair of shoes so you can continue to wear one pair when he comes home. Does he really mind that you wear his shoes while he is at work? What about his pants? Does he mind if you wear his pants while he is at work? Does he wear your clothes while you are at work?
He is a grown man, isn't he? He can take off his own darn shoes.
