I want 1 kid only but how? than you have to date them to know if there a good person or not, it's seems by the time that happens I'll be too old to have a kid anyway, or be too old to be a rookie @ dating too have no experience @ it. that's what makes it even more scary. in counseling now it's just talk when you go home your back to your problems again anyways, hard life never had a youth either wasted teens &20's.

maybe try something like match.com or some type of service where you can get to know someone over the phone or online, that way there is less anxiety. then when you are comfortable enough you can meet in person. I know it sounds weird but it works, I have a friend who is now married and she met her husband online, my cousin met his wife through yahoo personals.

Try to hang out with people your age.....take some classes.....at the local college....or join some local youth group or something where the people you are looking for hang out....or get a job where they are....just get out there on your own without hanging out with your older family or friends....

...I know what you mean about not having a youth...like my family was never fun...and my mom and dad didn't get along so I felt I was right in the middle of something that wasn't good.....and because my mom wasn't happy....I mean that is what I had to deal with....and it is just not cool when your mom isn't happy....like not all moms are sweet or supportive...like it sucks if your mom was bitter and cold....so I know different family problems or other problems makes you have to be more serious than being a kid and having fun....but it is never too late to change your life and have fun...give life a chance...break away from your current situations and try new things...meet new people.....find things and places you like to be and be there.....

I have a friend who's in a similar situation, has anxiety, and is worried she'll never get married. It's normal to worry about all of this. Many people do not get married until they are in their 30's or 40's. If you are looking to make new friends, the best way is to find friends who like similar interests as you. Age doesn't matter. Just focus on being happy and staying true to yourself. I'm sorry it's so difficult for you right now. I hope things get better.

First ask your Doctor to give you treatment for anxiety, I did and it does work, second try good dating websites like E harmony or match.com be very honest about yourself and when you feel good and ready to meet the person take your sister to the date and make it in a public place in the morning hours ..if you still feel OK after meeting the person your sister can leave and you can start to have fun.
