which goes first, light or darkness?

Dark is an absence of light, but light has to fail before dark can come into play. So light is always in the lead position.

Light overcomes darkness. So I would guess darkness came first but I could be wrong.It all depends on how you look at it!

This world was dark before there was light. Light existed in God for God is light. In the Bible the second verse says "darkness was upon the face of the deep" when God said "let there be light" in the third verse.''

We live in the dark in the womb before we ever see the light of day. Spiritually we also live in darkness and are considered blind before we see the light. "God calls us out of the darkness into his marvelous light."

But God always existed and he is light so it would stand to reason the light was first, however when speaking of the dark planet there is darkness and that darkness was here first before the God said "let there be light."

well..my friend said he heard a bunch of old guys talkin at the diner where he worked....they were saying something about how dark is faster than light.....i dunno.... i think though if ur talking about which would show up first....it would probably be light....though if your talking about which is dominant..i'd say darkness....because when all is gone darkness will prevail....when all the stars implode there will be nothing but dark.
