I received this in an email, and I have to say that I agree....
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay
me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??
I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt, doing drugs, while I work. Part of getting back on your feet is getting of the drugs.
( I dont want to hear no whinny cry babies spouting how things are rough and people need help. I am $80,000 in debt, and I am fighting my way back without government assistance. Step one... GET A JOB. There are help wanted signs EVERWHERE)

You picked a well known abuse of the system and you found a good way to enforce it. A lot of people here seem to agree with you so why don't your write your Congressmen and tell them?
We need to curb the drug epidemic, and controlling supply isn't working. We have been trying that for years going as far as to send troops to Columbia to destroy cocaine fields.
The way to stop drugs is to stop the demand, reduce the demand, the price will drop and fewer people will want to enter the trade because of that.
It is hard to get a job and take care of a child, if you don't have a mother, grandmother or some other family member to palm them off to then you have to pay for child care. That child care can cost more than minimum wage that the welfare recipient would earn. I don't like the idea of welfare, but for some it works. However, we can control those that abuse it. If they don't spend welfare money on drugs then they will be spending it on food and child care like they are supposed to.

I totally agree...I was driving behind a couple smoking a joint on their way to Giant Eagle..In the checkout they bought steaks and shrimp with an Access card (food stamps) WTF? They need bright yellow shirts walking the roads picking up litter until they realize we aren't gonna support them anymore. Everyone keep voting democrat..keep the welfare people safe. If everyone would just get together for a week and NOT work...let's see what happens if the welfare checks are late......

in the event that they weren't precise labs could be close down via many inspection companies. Sorry dude, there are soooo many controls to make optimistic each little thing is precise it is not even humorous. So my answer is limited they're ninety 9.9% precise and if it is not precise it is simply by fact of uncommon human errors, no longer the attempting out equipment.

i agree, cuz my ex lost his job 2 months ago, now living on welfare, he lost his job cuz he couldn't pass a piss test. now i don't get child support now either, he can't get ajob, cuz of his background.
