Hello! I am in the process of trying to sell my SUV. And was wondering how to get out stains in the carpet and the seats. Also, is there any way to get dark stain out of the plastic? I don't know what caused them but I can't seem to get them out. And do you have any suggestions on how to sell cars. Thanks!

Like many before me said, you should take it to a professional independent detailer. They will do wonders. Since you are going to sell your car you might want to check out http://www.selllikeadealer.com/ it gives you step by step instructions on how to sell your car for the maximum profit! Good luck!

Like Cheese And Rice said, take it to a detailer. They've got all kinds of tricks, like fabric dyes to hide stains or fading and "new car smell" to cover up the reek of stale dog vomit.

And get every little defect fixed. If I can believe those house-selling shows on TV, the slightest thing can turn people off buying.

Advertise is as many places as possible: classified ads, supermarket and laundromat bulletin boards, Craigslist, family friends and neighbors, and a for sale sign in the window. The more people that know about it, the better the odds of selling for the price you want.

I am a professional detailer i have been detailing cars for three years and yes we know how to get many stains out, i will tell you many of my customers have given me their cars to detail so they can sell it, but then change their mind after i had detailed it, not many company's or car wash offer the type of service i give i am private detail er. i will give you some tips.
1: to get tuff stains out of carpets use spray 9 its the best but make sure to mix it with water due to the fact its strong
2:use steam cleaner it lifts stains and cleans the air as well.
3:there really is no way to get dark stain out of plastic many times its because of fading try using this i use this on all black trim tires and some interior plastic make sure to spot check http://www.chemicalguys.com/Trim_Shine_p/tvd_108_16.htm
4: try to take it at a professional i think you will be satisfied and yes the ignorant of buyers will buy a car just because the window shine.
