This may sound like it's stupid questions, but I pretty much am new here.. So I was just wondering about some things...
What exactly is the "Top Contibutor" badge? And how does people get them?
What other badges are there beside the "Top Contibutor" one..?
If you flagged someone, would they know who flagged them?
Violations, if you get one, how would you know that you got a violation and how does that effect you?
And does it also effect you in any way when you get thumbs-up(s)? (or thumbs down)

Thumbs up and down affect a users ratings people who have show answers by ratings will see higher rated users first instead of first poster. Thumbs up are worth one bonus point on best answers

Top Contributor badges are the orange badges under people's name who have 10% or more best answers in a certain category. That is the only badge. If you get a violation you will receive a violation notice email. They don't effect thumbs up or down but they effect your points and could result in your account being deleted.

Top Contributor has 10% or better Best Answers in a category.
A green badge is a celebrity or Yahoo employee.
You don't know who has flagged you.
A violation might mean restricted rights for a day. Too many in a given time period and your account, including email, will be deleted.
Thumbs down don't mean anything. If you get Best Answer, a thumb up will add one point for you, up to a total of 30, I believe.

Check your email, if you get a lot then your account may get deleted.
Thumbs-up is counted if you get an best answer (BA)...like, if you answer a Q and got 2 thumbs-up then your final points will be 12.
Thumbs-down means your answer wasn't really good or someone reported you.

well top contributor is for 12% or higher best answers
no other badges
flagging is for rude comments and something that make you sick to read
how many volition before you jset your account suspend ? no one know that
no but thumbs up a re cool but they count for nothing
