I don't know why it should much of an issue, Christan's should be able to accept everybody. But I don't think this has anything to do with religion, I think it has more to do with the shock of him being different than you. He's not a different person based on what he likes sexually and you should learn to accept him no matter what he's into, because he is your brother.

The issue here is not your brother, it's you. He has accepted who he is, you're the one who is having the problem with it. Your brother is the same person he has always been, it just so happens he is gay. He was born gay, just as you were born straight. God intended him to be that way. Hating him for being gay is like hating someone for being left-handed. It is wrong.
The one thing your brother needs is the support of his family. I don't know how your parents are reacting, but you can only worry about your reaction. You are being very cruel and you should stop to think how you would feel if you were in his shoes right now and he was treating you as you're treating him.
You may not understand why he's gay. Well guess what? We gay people don't understand WHY we are gay either! We just know that is how we are. He is going to have it hard enough with the way society will treat him. He needs your love and support. Please try to stop being mad at him and try to talk to him and be there for him.
You might want to also check out this website for more information: pflag.org. Good luck and may God bless you, your brother and your family.

*sigh* your household must beee goinnggg crazzzyy right now! why do u hate your brother? is it because he's gay or is because everyone is against him about the whole gay thing that makes you hate him. learn to accept him. i mean it's hard enough for him as it is, having society look down upon him, and the one people he turns to, shouldn't let him down either. love him if you want him happy, and even though your family is "strict christians", they will soon learn to accept him. come on family is family! love don't hate!
U don't need any religion to deal with this, u need to be U to deal with it.

pray jus pray u dont hate him more than likely maybe u jus dislike his actions a heak of a lot its more than likely not his fault i know gay people and ave pondered over y u would want to be ridiculed that way the thing is they dont want to be gay i know a guy who has acted like a girl since he was born he didnt jus be gay oneday this leads me to believe its a birthdefect or its an outcome of the brain being chemically imbalanced in some way i still am cool with gays i dont agree with them but i can pray for them and hope they go to heaven because oneday in heaven we will all be perfect so they wont be gay
p.s. claimed fellow christians she is not a sick person let thee who has nver sinned cast the first stone we all have so no one on here should call her sick because we all have done wrong and we are not worthy to judge

It must be a hard thing. There is so much baggage to deal with. I don't think people choose their orientation - not many would choose such a difficult life. Your brother probably expects rejection and it will surely hurt him. Why not live and let live. He probably has enough to deal with without the loss of support of his family.

If your brother is gay then there is nothing you can do but get over it. You should be proud your brother had enough balls to tell your tight a** christian family who he really is, maybe he can actually start living his life now.
you cant help what your heart wants

If ur such a strict christian, then how can u hate? Ur bro is still human, and expects his family to love him, and support his new feelings. Just try to respect his point of view. God will be happy.

Love is unconditional, so if you love your brother his sexuality, wouldn't get in the way. That being the case, he is better off without you, and I hope he knows that. Furthermore, you give Christianity a bad name, and to think, there are others just like you. We are in trouble.
