Do you ever feel like someone actually loves you for you, other than your body or attributes that benefit the other person? It seems like everyone is always after something out of you and doesn't want to see the person under the skin. How many people actually look deeper into you?

bydrsfan--my friends are the same way. Maybe because family knows you your whole life is why.

I feel like my family loves me for me, but I wish my friends loved me for who I am. Is that weird of me?I don't have many friends at all, so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Yes they do love me. It's just that everyone sees things from their own perspective. Not very many people have the energy to look deeply. Just cherish people and I'm sure they will cherish you even if they don't always show it.

I feel loved and the people who love me have their agenda as to the part and depth of me that they need in their lives.
Part of this love me for myself equation is opening up and letting others see all of you. It is very difficult for me. Rejections have helped me build a wall.

I am very lucky to have the people in my life that I do, and I can honesty can that I feel loved by many of them.

yea and i always felt like they didn't care about what's inside of me not out of me. And i hope that special someone actually is seeing the inside of me. And deep in me mabye at least 3? not sure

I feel very loved. My husband tells me that I look beautiful when I feel I'm at my worst. He loves me for me even with all of my flaws.
