Arizona, or one of those other hot, dry states. Actually, you can find restorable cars anywhere, just look for one that's been garaged all its life and never driven on salted roads. If that's too much work, try the Phoenix classifieds; be sure to do a title search first (Carfax) to make sure the car originally was titled in a hot, dry, Southwestern state.
Florida, Texas, and SoCal are other good sources for low-mileage "Grandpa" cars, but beware of flood damage. Again, do a title search.
Try estate sales. Contact attorneys who deal with estates.


Or, you can build a "classic," like a '69 Camaro convertible, 100% from all-new "aftermarket" parts- body, suspension, engine, trans, trim, etc.
Some of the classic Brit sports car bodies, like the original Austin Mini and the MGB, are available new. If I had the time and the money I'd look into building an MGB powered by a Ford 302 (because it's a lot smaller than a SBC and should slip right in).
