a little camphor added in hot water will do the job.

Depends where the mildew is.....cloth? tile? caulking? Well, you get the idea. Bleach has been fail-safe for me lest the mildew be on fabrics, and then if the fabrics are not white, you'll get a bleached-out stain.

Some inexpensive vodka in a spray bottle. The alcohol kills the mildew.

For walls, floors and cupboards use 1 cup of bleach in 1 gallon of hot water. It won't come out of sheets, clothing, or other fabrics. You will kill the spores with the bleach solution, but the stains are permanent.

Generally, the prows state a 50/50 bleach / water mix.

Too much bleach will leave a residue if painting.

their are mildew cleaners..they are really strong and you need to air out the room and maybe wear a mask but they really work well...their is always ammonia as well
