I have and it's highly addictive. My wife's friend took it after back surgery and going to rehab was pretty much automatic.
A lot of people slam Rush Limbaugh for his problems with it and I myself wondered. Until my wife's friend went through it and I witnessed it for myself.

So that makes it perfectly fine for him to use drugs not prescribed to him. I don't think he would afford other that kind of discretion.
Poor old Rush Bimbo, he is addicted to Oxycontin, and everyone is after him. Oh! poor little baby he couldn't go to Vietnam because of Butt Pimples. Poor little baby.
Give me a break.

My friend and I were talking about this and we both wondered how this is so prevalent.
In the last year or so I have had a herniated disc in my neck with migraines, a broken arm, some acute abdominal pain from a gall bladder problem, a wisdom tooth pulled and a root canal.
Through all those different things I did have two morphine shots while in the hospital but once out all I got was a few lortabs a couple times. I have never had anyone prescribe this oxycontin stuff.
Hell its hard enough to get them to prescribe anything strong enough to do much of anything. Doctors are wary of people abusing prescriptions. I have no idea how so many people are getting on this stuff.
However I lived with my grandmother in my teens and she would sometimes steal my narcotic prescriptions. I was never addicted but I saw and old lady, my grandmother that way. Also had an ex girlfriend who I broke up with over her abuse of pills. She would even try and get me to lie to doctors and pharmacies for her.

damn i was going to slam rush Limbaugh but you beat me to it lol
the company who produces Oxycontin just settled out of court for misleading the consumers to how addictive it is
and how easily it can be abused
rush wasn't in trouble for being addicted but getting duplicate prescriptions and having his maid try and get it also

Rush Limbaugh didn't inhale with Clinton or snort coke with Obama. He got addicted to medication prescribed to him for his back pain. I'm sorry, but that's actually a crime.

Not only that but they also start having vivid hallucinations. My mother (rest her soul) was on it for about a year when she had the cancer. She was seeing giant snakes and stuff. It is a horrible but sometimes necessary drug.
