You may not have to move up to a D just yet - go to a bra shop (Vicky's secret, or whatever department store near you) and try on various styles in a 34c. I know that when I wear certain styles in my size (34c, as well), my boobs fall out, but if I wear balconettes or demi styles, I'm fine. SO try that, if that doesnt work, then do the same thing for the 34d. THat way you will know for sure without having to buy anything you dont want.

I have heard from experts (on Ophah) that most women make the mistake of having the cup size too small and under the bra too big. Try on a bra (or several) where the cup size is bigger and a size smaller around your ribs. For example if your in a 34D try a 32DD, and wear the bra much lower on your ribs instead of right under your breasts.
When I took these suggestions, my bras felt much better. Good luck.

Go to a department store and get professionally fit. Its completely free and you won't have to buy their bras if you dont want to. Dillard's and Macy's both do it.
If you are shy (which is fine), try this to measure yourself:
1) BAND SIZE. Using a soft tape-measure, measure tightly around your body directly below your bust, resting the tape on the lower band of your bra. make sure the tape is snug and straight, in front and back. Do this in front of a mirror to make sure.
Add 5 to this measurement to get your band size. For example, if your bustline measures 29, add 5 to equal 34". If your band size is an odd number, round up to the next even band size although you may also want to try on the lower one just in case.
2) CUP SIZE. Now loosely measure around the fullest part of the bust, making sure the tape is straight and not too tight. Each inch of difference equals one cup size. For example, if your band size if 34 and you bust measures 36, you wear a B cup (2 = B).
1 = A
2 = B
3 = C
4 = D
5 = DD
6 = F
I hope this helps!

You could try a 34D. Since your breasts spill out the cup size is too small. Is it comfortable around your chest?
You could also get professionally sized, try JCPenney, Sears, or Nordstroms (NOT victoria secret they do not size correctly).
