who on here hates mean people that leave mean answers on people's questions when you can tell already that that certain person is self-conscious about something...? this is a really random question and you don't even have to answer it, but i just want to speak out because you people are making me mad (the ones that do that). i see these girls on here who ask these questions like, "am i ugly" and have pictures and people go and tell them they look like "the scum of the earth"... now, that's just plain mean. if you agree, then please comment and maybe we can all, i know that this is hypocritical, but we will just do this to give them a taste of their own medicine, leave mean comments on the open questions they ask or starting reporting those answers because I am just sick of this. this is for answers and people can pretty much ask anything on here and pretty much WILL ask anything on here and i hate all this negativity. we can stop this though. LET'S DO IT!

i posted this because i just saw a question where you could tell that this girl was extremely self-conscious and she had all these pictures of herself posted on here and she was asking people if they thought that she was pretty or not. she did get negative answers and i just think it's wrong for people to do that. i would hate that if people did that to me...

and i am NOT a "dumb blonde". i am a young teenager and i know how self-conscious these girls are! trust me, i went through it, but i never would have posted pictures on here saying, "am i ugly"? i have enough confidence to do that and even if i got bad answers to still "move on". it's not me who has the problem. it's these people! and i definitely don't like these negative answers.

For real!! I agree 100%. I hate when you speak honestly from experience about something someone asks, and they send you an email telling you that you are just a liar, and don't know what I'm talking about. People are just childish, more so than the younger crowd on here. It makes me mad.

Hon, I don't like these mean people either, but this is an open question and answer forum where everybody has the right to speak their mind. I've had people give my answers thumbs down when all I've done was state my opinion and it's just people who don't agree with me or think I'm wrong. I've adjusted to that. I have seen these questions you pointed out and I feel sorry for these teenagers who have such low self-esteem. What they need to do though is get professional help from a therapist and not get on here for help. There are just some things that Yahoo Answers can't help. What am I saying, there are a lot of things Yahoo Answers can't help. It should not be used in the place of a therapist and that is what these teenage girls are looking for, help.
Having somebody who you don't even know and can't see and ask what they think of how you look is the wrong way to get help for their self-esteem issues.
As for taking care of these mean people you are right. It's best to report them and then just pass them by and that's it.

I agree that this is just mean. I think these ppl must be really bored to answer the questions of someone who obviously is having self-doubt issues in a mean way. I also think that when you ask a question that is obviously meant in a "funny" way and ppl get all weird they should get a life!

Although I appreciate seeing some humor in some of the answers, many answers - of a personal nature - are no joke.
How about, "If we can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all?"
There are enough problems in the world without us needing to hurt the feelings of another person.

oh my goodness....sounds like someone has got their feelings hurt in the past. did someone call your picture ugly? im sorry, it sucks when people are mean, but there is always going to be those who have different opinions than you, and will say things you dont want to hear, so just get over it, and move on.

I don't hate them. I just try to take into account that there are those with petty, closed minds who have nothing better to do with their time that to try to prevent others from discussing serious issues. I think you may have found the missing members of the Race Relations rooms.
