Go to bars that feature stand-up comedians, places like Yuk Yuk's. You get to practise in front a live crowd and some of the better comics get noticed and move up. If you are very good and lucky you may get to the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. Tim Allen, and Drew Carry are two of many comics who became famous after wowing the fans and critics at Just For Laughs.
Good Luck
The world needs more laughter!
