3 flights (supposedly) with one or more astronauts intoxicated (supposedly). That's a lot less concern to me than the thousands that drive cars drunk every day.

Try to chart the motion of the Earth while considering our rotation about an axis, our revolution about the Earth-Moon barycenter, our orbit around the Sun-Moon barycenter, the fact that there are seven other planets affecting the Sun, the Sun's 250 million year revolution around the Milky Way Galaxy towards Vega, and the Milky Way Galaxy's motion through space as part of a binary system with the Andromeda Galaxy.

I've never tried it, but I imagine Earth's path would be similar to the path of a drunk driver. In a sense, I suppose we ARE flying into space drunk!

In fact, I think our galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy are expected to have a head on collission some time in the next 5 billion years...

I have been real lucky. I was out flying the other day and this space drunk was staggering around and I nearly hit him.

why not? the next thing you know, we'll have rehab on the moon. I saw the best tee shirt the other day. it said "rehab is the new black"!!!!!!!!
