I have a shirt that has clay mud stains in it. I am unable to get it out. I have tried bleach, oxiclean, era. Any suggestions?

Maybe a "stain stick"; cover it really well, leave it on there a few days, then launder it. Good luck!

You should put the least amount of water in the washer. Put in a full cap of Era - it is protein based and removes most organic stains. Put in clothes, agitate it and let it soak for an hour. You can also bleach if you want to, just don't soak in the bleach, it will ruin your fabric. You should also run it through 2 rinse cycles. That is what I have to do to our clothes when we come back from the lake. Good Luck!

I have yet to find a product that will get that clay out.
I have tried everything myself.
My husband is in construction and his socks for some reason always get that clay color.
I used bleach, oxyclean, tide bleach pen, spray and wash, and nothing seems to work.
Hey, if you find out anything, let me know!

I guess you just got yourself a new rag.

Try the new Clorox Bleach Pen. You use it right on the spot, and it does a great job. Also, if you have a friend with one of the new High Energy washers, ask if they will throw your shirt in with one of their washes. Those machines are a wonder. We just bought one in January and wouldn't trade it for gold!
