For me, there's no better feeling than not only sharing life with a woman, but sharing life or just interacting with a woman who knows about sports. If she can talk about baseball with any amount of knowledge or know enough to get involved with debating certain sports related topics or just reminiscing about the past, then she is 1 special lady.

I'm very much in favor of women who either like baseball or are willing to learn. This, however, is a highly subjective question, and I'm so pathetically baseball-obsessed that I can talk other people into the carpeting on the topic of baseball (and I really try not to without fair warning).
(NB: I am not a "sports fan" and loathe every marketing assault that thinks I am. I am a BASEBALL FAN, and this really is an important distinction. My interest in the lesser sports is at best casual and fleeting, and if they ceased operations tomorrow I would notice but not care. So, to be clear, a woman who knows baseball is a good thing to me, but if she's only into football, well, there'd best be many other aspects to her, because the football thing ain't gonna do it. I'm out of the market anyway.)

If a woman likes sports that makes her incredibly attractive, almost undesireable for most men. Liking sports gives any woman an advantage or a girl who thinks they are "dumb." It's a win, win.

If a girl knows that "Chone" is pronounced Shawn, then a guy has to be happy. If she understands the DH rule, great. If she knows what WHIP ( the stat, not the accessory!) or OPS are, then she has crossed the line!
