You cannot convert the dryer itself..You can only convert the source/energy to operate one from electric to gas... You either have to have an outlet put in by an electrician for the electric one..or have gas lines installed for a gas one..but the cost of gas is so expensive that it is not economical..and the increase in it will constantlygo up..expect to spend 7 times more money to operate gas verses electric....My cousin runs a second hand furniture store and they have many gas dryers they can't even sell for 20.00 due to the cost to run a gas dryer..when the electric ones sell for 75.00 to 150.00 all day long..

Btw. The cost of a gas dryer does run more than a electric dryer, but the cost to run a gas dryer is significant cheaper, and dries faster than electric. Cost of natural gas is cheaper than electric depending on where you live

Even if you could convert an electric drier to gas the cost would be more than an electrician AND two electric driers combined.

Much easier to have an electrician install a 220V plug.
Good luck.
