Sherlock Holmes. I like his style. You could be Dr. Watson. How about it?

That is a tough one!!
There are so many fictional characters I'd like to know as real people.
Lots of James Michener's heroes.
Augustus MacRae from Lonsome Dove
Jack Holloway from H. Beam Piper's Little Fuzzy novels
Horatio Hornblower from the C.S. Forrester Hornblower novels.
Good question. Sorry I couldn't pick just one.

Vanyel "Ashke" Ashkevoron.. (I'm hoping I spelled the last name right.. book is not in front of me)..
Honestly, I don't know why.. I think it was he was a great character.. at first you almost HAD to hate him.. but he grows on you.. I think he would be an interesting person to meet..
and close second .. Kerowyn.. I don't remember her families name.. .. She was a smart, strong, fully functioning female character. hmmm.
I don't have alot that I'd bring to life.. and for some reason both of the one's I'd choose are written by Mercedes Lackey.. maybe because they are written so much like any one you'd meet..

I would like to bring two fictional characters to life if you don't mind - Huckleberry Finn and Nancy Drew. They both came to life in my imagination when I read about them. It would be neat to meet them in real life!
