I heard someone reading Potter on the radio once, the part where the kids get sorted by the hat, been reading the books ever since.

I think Hogwarts would have to create a new house for me. lol

I got into Harry Potter with the very first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I was teaching sixth grade English and had read about the book. My students were reading it and I read it too. I was hooked from then on. I just finished the seventh and last book in the series and am sad to see them end. I suspect that I would be in Ravenclaw, because I'm better at intellectual challenges than physical ones. Might be Gryffendor, but it's not as likely as Ravenclaw.

Well i got into this book because of jealousy. My best friend was beating me 200 points to 50(me) cus she had read harry potter and each harry potter book gave u like 30 or 40 pts, when usually u get 3 pts per book. I was always top of the class and she was beating me! i couldnt believe it! i hated harry potter soo much, but i decided to read it and who knew i'd become a big fan? lol i think i'd eithe r be in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Ravenclaw requires intelligence and knowledge right? i have that. Gryffindor requires bravery and strong friendship, i have that. Most likely i'd be put in GRYFFINDOR though, because Hermione is smart and she still got put into gryffindor, and i am very similar to Hermione Granger, and i am a MUDBLOOD OKAY? and proud! LOL

I was watching some morning show and they were talking about the national bestseller among people of all ages by JK Rowling and I had to go see what the hype was about. I'm very glad that I did!
I guess I'd have to say that I'd be in Ravenclaw. They're awesome but not as great as Gryffindor. Gryffindor has a lot of pressure to be heroic lol.

Actually the movies turned me on to the books. I saw the first two movies and then decided that I needed to know what happened. I read the 3rd and 4th book and then went back to read the first two.

I really do not know what house I would be in. I think that it would be Ravenclaw because I have brains, but I am also courageous so I might be in Gryffindor

A friend of mine was reading the series about 5 years ago and I kept teasing her about reading kids books. She kept telling me, no they are great and so much fun to read.. Well that was that I have been hooked ever since!!!

I think I would be in Gryffindor, I am brave and will stand up for myself, but I don't like to hurt others to get what I want. I am pretty resourceful, and funny. I really would have to have the sorting hat tell me..lol

What got me into it?.. Just a whim.. The day the first one was released in the US I ran into it.. I was blissfully unaware of the talk about it until the day my nephew was born.. I was reading the second book at the hospital and one of the relatives (not mine) told me how much publicity it had due to the banning and all of that nonsense..I hadn't heard ANYTHING about that.. I kept readinig.. They are just .. addictive. You care about the characters.. I don't know how she did it.. but well.. there it is.

Which house.. Ravenclaw.. I just know.. not going to go into it.. because it is after all just a book..

I started reading them to my son who wasn't old enough to read them on his own. Then I found myself nudding him to stay awake because I was getting to a good part and he was falling asleep. Then I found myself reading ahead after he fell asleep and "catching him up" the next time we read.

Now he's in 6th grade, I'm still reading them, he is "Waiting for the movie"
