Interesting question--I read something the other day about how people won't back down from positions they take. Apparently, once you state a belief publicly, you are more likely to defend that that position, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. It made me think--I try hard now to make sure I am not doing that now.

I don't have an agenda, but I do have political beliefs. They are mostly conservative and I am a registered Republican. If someone has a legitimate argument , I am a reasonable person and be persuaded to see things in a different way. I guess I can cop to incorrect political beliefs, because I was raised in a strictly Democratic family.

I have tried hard in my adult life to be able to admit when I'm wrong. I've done it on here publicly. It's tough living in a world of people who are never wrong. I have an example to set for a twelve and fifteen year old and I don't want it to be one of I'm the boss and I'm never wrong. I copped to it years ago when I got out of the democratic party and registered Independent. I never vote a straight party ticket, I vote the person and the issues and where that person's voting record stands on those issues.

Why would it be my political agenda if it was "wrong"?

Yes I could. I used to be a democrat till I grew up and spoke with people and gained a better understanding of their beliefs and well damn was I WAY off. Most people will lie and say yes, however, they stay how they are despite the most purest logic.

Absolutely. But I remain a President Bush supporter because he understands the threats we face.

I knew the Clintons were wrong, just like Kerry...too "wishy-washy"

Of course not. Plenty of room within both political parties for disagreement, or haven't you been paying attention?

ADDED: I interpreted your slang to mean go along with it.
