No I haven't heard of them per se, but this is an increasingly common scam, in which very authentic checks are sent to be cashed, and a percentage returned. While the bank might initially accept the deposit, when it later finds the check to be fake, YOU are responsible for the return of the full amount of the check. In addition, the scammers may have your bank information and clean out your account or steal/sell your identity.

It is more than likely a scam. If it sounds too good to be true...It's a SCAM!!!!
